1. RM stands for Real Media format. To convert rm to avi, pease install the latest RealPlayer if your Windows has not installed it. Download RealMedia Splitter, use the command line “regsvr32 RealMediaSplitter.ax” to register it.
If your do not install the appropriate avi video or audio encoder such as DivX, XviD you want, please install it first.
Click the Options button to set the output file name, resolution, frame rate, audio compressor etc. if needed. Select the video compressor, the converter can convert rm to divx or convert rm to xvid.

Ram is Real Audio metafile. Metafiles are text files which contain the URL location of a .ra (realaudio file). RealAudio files normally do not be used directly in the html file because ra files can be downloaded before playback. To convert ram to avi is hard job.
