1. RM
stands for Real Media format. To
convert rm to avi, pease install the
latest
RealPlayer if your Windows has
not installed it. Download
RealMedia Splitter, use the
command line "regsvr32
RealMediaSplitter.ax" to register
it.
If
your do not install the appropriate
avi video or audio encoder such as
DivX, XviD you want, please install it first.
Launch
Open Video Converter, click
the Open Video button, select a rm file for
rm to avi.
Click the Options button to set the
output file name, resolution, frame
rate, audio compressor etc. if
needed. Select the video compressor,
the converter can convert rm to divx
or convert rm to xvid.
If you want to convert the whole rm file to avi, click
the Convert button.
If
you want to convert some part of
the rm file, drag the
slide bar directly, or click the
Play button to preview the RM
file, set the Start Time and the End
Time. At last, click the Convert
button to start to convert rm to avi.

Ram is Real Audio
metafile. Metafiles are text files which contain
the URL location of a .ra (realaudio file).
RealAudio files normally do not be used
directly in the html file because ra files can be
downloaded before playback. To convert ram to avi
is hard job.
