How to slice files into segments:

1. Open a file.

2. At the upper right corner of the interface, select Byte, KByte, MByte as needed.

1 MByte = 1024 KByte, 1 KByte = 1024 Byte

There are three kinds of slice mode. Please select a slice mode:

By size: slice the opened file equally by specifying a custom size. The default size is 1.44MByte, which is for floppy disk.

Change the Output directory if needed. At last, click the Start button to start splitting the file.

After splitting is done, an exe file in the output directory can recreate the original file. Please backup the exe file with the split files.

By number: slice several equal parts of the opened file

Select the number you want to split, the each size of split file will display on the right. Change the Output directory if needed.

At last, click the Start button to start slicing the file.

A segment: slice a segment of the file by setting the start position and the end position.

Drag the slide bar, and click the Start Position button. Drag the slide bar again, click the End Position button. Or enter the numbers into the edit fields directly. Change an Output File name if needed.

At last, click the Start button to start slicing the file.

How to rejoin files

For example: if you have sliced a file by number mode, you will find the split files with the file extension .exe, running the exe file directly to rejoin the split files into original file.
