Author’s introduction about Word Shark for PPC 31:
The object of Word Shark is to make as many words as possible from a grid of letters in a specified time. You make words by clicking on letters. You may click on any letter to start your word. Once started you must connect letters either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. The game will look up the word in a dictionary, if it finds a match it will be added to your word list. The longer the word the more points you score. To clear the last letter you typed press the double arrow in the top right. To clear the entire word press the second blue arrow directly below. After the game has finished you may click the word list (or the missed word list in multi-player mode) to highlight the word in the grid.

Each time you play the grid changes giving you an unlimited number of word combinations.
Word Shark supports Windows and PPC. Both versions are fully multiplayer; you can play against your friends live over the internet. You can see each others words once the rounds are complete and compare missed words. You can play against your desktop with a wi-fi equipped PPC.
All versions are free and support single/multi-player modes. Registered versions allow you to score on all words. Trial versions restrict the length of words you can score.
