VCD
Definition: VCD stands for VideoCD.
It is a standard developed in early 1990's that
allows regular CD to contain 74 minutes of video
and audio.
1. To
convert vcd to wav: if the VCD file
is encoded with 1.0 format, you do
not need to install any additional
MPEG decoder. If the vcd file is
encoded with 1.1 or 2.0 format,
please
install DVD players such as WinDVD
Player or PowerDVD Player, which
include the appropriate vcd decoder.

Launch Audio/Video to Wav
Converter, click the Open Media File
button,
After
you insert the VCD into the CD/DVD
drive, you will find the directory
named MPEGAV in the VCD. In the
directory, there are some VCD files
named AVSEQ01.DAT, AVSEQ02.DAT or
MUSIC01.DAT, MUSIC02.DAT etc. Then
open a vcd file in the program.

If you want to convert the whole
audio from the vcd file to wav, set
the Output File if needed, then
click the Convert button.
If you
want to convert some part of audio from
the vcd file, drag the slide bar
directly, or click the Play button to
preview the media file, set the Start
Time and the End Time. At last, click
the Convert button to start to convert
vcd to wav.

3GPP means
Generation Partnership Project. 3GPP is the
third generation (3G) cell phone system
specification between many countries. To convert
3GPP to wav, please install 3GPP codec such as
HDX4.
